Just two months shy of my (so-called) tumblog’s third birthday—and after a year of Tumblr neglect—I’ve discovered that Tumblr really resembles a long-form Twitter.
I’ve just “followed” a few other tumble-logs (for the first time) and suddenly my dashboard looks like an overgrown Twitter home page.
I’m sure this was obvious to anyone paying attention.
I’m once again feeling uncertain about which medium to use to express my more long-winded thoughts to the world-wide intarweb.
And since that line would have fit in a Twitter post, I am now typing an additional postscript.

Update
So I wasn’t going to post in this anymore, as I wanted to reestablish a real blog. Recently, though, I’ve discovered that I don’t really have time for a long-form blog, so the end result is that I just don’t post anything anywhere. This tumble-log, while perhaps not ideal, is quick and easy and keeping it encourages actual publishing of content.
